ART FOR WHAT? A PROPOSAL FOR TEACHING ART BASED ON THE VANGUARD DADAISM
Abstract: In addition to a report on art teaching practice applied to elementary school students, this article presents reflections on the different aspects of art teaching based on the triangular approach of author and art educator Ana Mae Barbosa. According to the author, art teaching should involve reading images, historical and social contextualization, as well as making art. The text presents an analysis of the creations made by the students, with the aim of observing their grasp of the concepts presented, as well as the validity of the proposal applied according to the specificities of the stage of development of the target audience.
