INCLUSÃO DE PESSOAS COM AUTISMO COMO ATO EDUCATIVO E PERFORMATIVO

This article reports on an interdisciplinary pedagogical experience involving 53 students from the Administration, Accounting, and Production Engineering courses at Faculdade da Amazônia (FAAM), enrolled in the 1st and 3rd semesters, during the course Integrative Project II. The proposal consisted of planning and executing social interventions on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), carried out in a public space in the city of Ananindeua/PA. The objective was to promote, through the integration of academic knowledge with social reality, the development of both technical and human skills, as well as the strengthening of citizenship education. The activity highlighted the university’s role in disseminating socially relevant knowledge and promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities. The work also discussed the impact of practical experience on the students’ subjectivity, worldview, and their future professional attitudes. The article includes theoretical reflections, methodological aspects, results of the action, and considerations about the challenges and potentials of higher education in the face of diversity.
