Abstract

The book blends essays and poems, focusing on the Omágua-Kambeba people and the crucial role of Indigenous women, using language that celebrates ancestry and cultural strength.
The book explores themes such as the concept of body/territory, the deep connection Indigenous peoples have with nature, and the leadership of Indigenous women as guardians of culture and resistance. Furthermore, the text critiques coloniality and historical erasure, illustrated by the romanticization of phrases that conceal the violence endured by Indigenous communities. The importance of Indigenous participation in politics is also discussed, emphasizing the need for self-representation and the achievements already made.
